Did you notice anything weird about the feet?

Turn the feet and unscrew them from the base to reveal an allen key screw.

Now you have unscrewed the outside shell you seem to still be stuck? The shell won’t come off? Maybe try and look for anything unusual you have access to?

Use the long bolt inside the lower bolt hole. If you look closely you will see a red pin — screw the long screw all the way into that hole to shift the red pin across and remove the outer shell.

You now have access to a lot of stuff. Maybe first figure out what to do with the circles on the left hand side. Is it possible you haven't used all of the feet just yet?

Find the magnetic foot and place it on the lower circle to remove the pin.

Now you have a long pin with 2 little pegs on it — have you tried to unlock the upper pin?

Turn the upper pin to the right using the magnetic pin removed earlier.

The key seems to be stuck in a maze? Maybe try and manipulate it left, right, up and down?

Get the pin to the right location to be able to pull it towards yourself, then rotate the pin all the way to the right, push the pin all the way back in, rotate all the way to the right again, pull the pin towards yourself, turn all the way to the left, push the pin in, turn to the left and then pull all the way out.

Now you have 3 symbols — one of a foot, one of a lightning bolt and one of a heart. Those words sound familiar?

Count how many feet the box had at the beginning (foot), then count the bolts (lightning bolt), then point the last dial to the location of the heart that is engraved on the outer shell previously removed — this is just off-center from the middle (heart).

Now you have a large amount of letters and numbers on the top of the box and 4 turners. First you need to find a way to turn these — have you found a key?

Maybe take another look at what you have received so far. Get the magnet pin and unscrew the end of it to reveal the key.

Now you have the key — what is the code? Take a look at the top; I wonder if there is anything to read? I think I can see the word BOX?

Using the code on the top, find the hidden words by using numbers and letters. You can see the words “5H1N3 / SHINE”, “L19HT / LIGHT”, “1N51D3 / INSIDE”, “B0X / BOX”.

Now you know the words — what does it all mean? Have you thought about what it’s asking you to do?

Simply get a torch or light and shine it below the box whilst looking at the code on top. You should see the letters DUSK — enter this to solve the puzzle and reveal the token.

Reset Instructions

This will guide you through resetting the puzzle to the start position.

Step 1: Bring together all pieces Make sure every removable part of the puzzle is present and placed on a clear surface.
Step 2: Reinstall the token Drop the token back into the smaller slot of the final inner box and locate the outer box with the four dials, ensuring that the dials are correctly aligned and pointing to the letter “D U S K”.
Step 3: Re-install the final box The inner box has two smooth sides and two sides with a ‘maze’. Slide the inner box into the outer box ensuring that the maze sides are sliding into the turner sides of the outer box. It should go in smoothly as long as the dials are correctly aligned (see step 2). Once the boxes are together, using the 3 pin turner key, spin the dials to four random letters to lock the inner box in place (Fun fact: we reset them to the letters H O A X)
Step 4: Resetting the main unit Locate the larger main unit with the two number dials and the single pointer dial and ensure that they are pointing to their solved positions. You should now be able to drop the box you reset from steps 2-3. into the larger mech. Ensure you drop it in with the feet, bolts and heart inlay facing outwards and that it is right side up. Once the box is in place, using the triangular arrow turner key, turn each dial to a random position to lock the box in place.
Step 5: Re-install the keys Reinstall the 2 pronged tip onto the 3 pinned turner key by screwing them back together (Ensure the screw thread is aligned, this should not require any force). Once reset, use this tool to reset the triangular arrowed maze key by reverse-navigating the maze and securing it in its locked position (the two key slots should be horizontal). Then, drop the magnetic two-pronged key into its slot just below the key maze slot. Your main puzzle unit should now be completely reset.
Step 6: Re-install the outer shell On the bottom of your main puzzle unit, you should find a small opening. If you rock the main unit side to side, you should notice the red locking pin inside. Ensure the red pin is out of this window by tilting it away into either side to keep this section clear. This will allow you to slot the outer shell back in place.
Step 7: Reset the red pin Locate the two reset pins stored inside the reset box. Identify the hole that contains the red pin. Grab the longer sliver pin (smaller white handle) and push into the red pin hole on the side with the nothing logo. The shorter silver pin (longer white handle) goes on the opposite side hole and gently push these pins together until they stop. This should not require very little force. If there is resistance, try wiggling the main unit until the red pin pushes back into place and try again. After this, the main unit and the outer shell should be locked together.
Step 8: Reinstall the bolts Grab the 7 short bolts and single longer bolt and recrew them back into the unit. The larger bolt should screw into the hole that is located directly above the red pin hole in the top of the unit.
Step 9: Reinstall the feet Grab the 4 feet. Screw in the foot that contains the hex key in re install into the threaded hole in the bottom of the outer shell that has a recess for it. Reinstall the remaining 3 feet into whichever location suits you.

This is the future

I’ve purchased plenty of mid grade puzzles from Amazon that are clearly mass produced sloppily.

Nothing puzzles came in and from the very beginning it was clear that this was art.

Not only is the puzzle clearly designed by a person who wants to have fun designing something memorable for you, but the parts feel like they could be mass produced but clearly aren’t.

I had a small, tiny problem with mine. I really didn’t want to bother this person but I was confused that maybe something was off about my puzzle so I messaged the account on instagram. The owner reached out himself and helped me troubleshoot. When something wasn’t to his standard he immediately offered to replace the entire puzzle.

With this level of care, this company is destined to become much larger.

The only puzzle I have left to solve is “when will you make more designs?”
