Reset Guide.
Did you notice that when you push down the button on the logo side you can turn the first ring?
Push in button then turn the ring to the right. Let go of the button; when the ring stops (without force) slowly rotate back to the left and the button should pop up and be able to remove.
Did you notice you can push that little button in the middle?
Push little button in and pull towards you to remove first ring.
Looking for an allen key? Maybe think about where one could be stored?
Unscrew the little push button to reveal an allen key, then remove the 2 allen bolts.
It seems you have found the star dial but not the moon dial? Maybe see if there is a panel that can be revealed — possibly a magnet?
Grab the first push knob and place it over the other knob on the other side. The magnets should stick and reveal the moon side.
Now you have the star and the moon, let's work on the star side first. Did you notice anything weird about the part you unscrewed off the star side? It seems to line up perfectly with the numbers and letters.
Place the section you removed back on top of the star piece. Rotate it until the number 0 lines up with the screw hole. Look through the second screw hole — you'll see the letter "s." Keep matching each number in order to uncover the full sequence.
Great, let's move onto the moon side. Did you notice there seem to be moons everywhere? Have you counted them all?
In total there are 6 moons — enter 6 on the moon side.
Can't figure out how to open the mechanism? You have a mechanism with 3 parts — the moon side, the star side and the ring. The ring needs to line up correctly for each side at the same time. Maybe turning isn't the only way?
After correctly putting in the numbers 5 for the star side and 6 for the moon side, simply slide the two rings apart and remove the middle ring.
Still not figured it out? Maybe see if that part in the middle can come out?
Simply give the middle star section a pull towards yourself to reveal the final token.
You solved it.
That is genuinely impressive. ECD-001 stumps a lot of people.

Before You Continue
Opening this section will show you exactly how to reset the puzzle and may permanently spoil part of the experience.
Make sure every removable part of the puzzle is present and placed on a clear surface.
Place the token back on top of the last section middle and reinstall the "star" panel / token cover. The cover is keyed and has to be lined up correctly.
Slide the middle pin (unit with the star on it) down to the bottom position. Place the middle ring over and slide up. Rotate rings and middle pin unit to reset locking mechanism.
Place the decoder mech over the top of the code ring and rotate until you can see the bolt holes line up. Reinstall the 2 screws. Reinstall the hex bit into its location.
Take the first ring and line it up with the decoder unit. Press the middle button (hex key button) and press the ring back into place. Rotate until the rings have the logo at the top or bottom.
Rest the push knob on top of the first ring and slowly rotate to the right until it starts going back in place. Gently push down and keep turning right until the knob pushes in deeper. Turn back left and the knob should be reinstalled.
Grab the "moon" magnet panel and install it back on the moon side. When aligned correctly it will snap back into place by itself — absolutely no force required.
Puzzle reset.
